Your policy number and the ZIP code on the policy are proof enough — both are on any declarations page. Nothing is emailed; the record is yours as soon as they match.

If it does not match

A policy your agency has not yet placed on your record cannot be claimed this way — ask them to place it, and it will appear. Otherwise check the number against your declarations page, or use the emailed link instead.
